Gods (or deities) were very important in the daily life-styles of the Greeks.  Gods were believed to be everywhere, so they would be everything.  When gods would try and communicate with people you would look to see the flight patterns of birds, the insides of an animal, and dreams.  But the gods were supposed to look like normal people just with powers.  Greek gods were always worshipped in a temple with a single lit flame, and nobody can go in the tomb except for the priests; the reason for this is if the flame went out then they would be dishonoring their gods, but sometimes you will cut open an animal and give the best part of it to the gods.  People from Greece worshipped three main gods were Zeus, Athena, and Apollo and they were very important to the everyday life of the Greeks.
