A Kendama is a wooden toy that consists of 1 handle, 3 cups (Base, Big, and Small cup), and 1 string attached from the Kendama to a ball with a hole directly in the middle. This miraculous but simple toy originated from Japan around the year 1603. With this toy, you can perform over 10 different and addicting tricks- such as Big Cup, Small Cup, Base cup, Birdie, Spike, Stilt, Around the world, Lighthouse, etc. It was very popular for children and teens (and some adults) to battle each other by playing a game called Ken, similar to Horse but instead of shooting a ball, you would perform multiple tricks and the opponent would try to replicate what you did.
Now if you feel interested in playing with this new toy, you probably have to buy it online because almost all the stores stopped selling them because they dropped in popularity among the children.
