Gymnastics is a sport that has exercises that requires strength, flexibility, balance, agility, endurance, and control. The movements involved in gymnastics include the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, chest, and abdominal muscle groups. Being alert, having good quality in your movements, being adventurous, having confidence, and having your own rules are mental characteristics that can also be developed through gymnastics. Gymnastics came from exercises used by ancient Greeks that had skills for getting on and getting off of a horse, and from circuses where they have to perform their skills.
