Have you ever heard of the Simpsons which was invented in 1987? The real action actually started on December 17, 1989 just 2 years after and it became a cultural phenomenon with 561 episodes and just about each had a lot of D´oh´s and Donuts. The creator, Matt Groaning, named the Simpsons after his own family. The character of Bart is based off of Matt. They were actually yellow so it would stand out because of how bright they made the yellow. The Simpsons´s theme song was made by Danny Elfman and it took him three days to complete. It´s what he calls the most popular piece of music in his career. In 1990, the Bart Simpson T-shirts were banned from many schools because they thought Bart was a bad role model. In 1992, President George H. W. Bush actually brought out stuff from the Simpsons saying that he would try to make all American families more like the Walton’s and less like the Simpsons.
