Imagine you have lived trapped inside of Chicago city your whole life and are finally given the oppurtunity to get out. Everything you have learned means nothing outside these walls. The faction system you have learned to live by has now crumbled to pieces. These groups Amity the peaceful, Erudite the intelligent, Dauntless the brave, Abnegation the selfless, and Candor the honest have been completely ruined.
Allegiant is about a teenage girl named Tris (actress Shailene Woodley) who has fought in the civil war that Jeanine Matthews, a former Erudite Leader, has started in hopes of exterminating all divergent’s. These divergents who don’t fit into any one faction challenge the system. Jeanine’s plan failed miserably, and now the fight has been turned into an even greater problem. Once outside the walls, they will learn the shocking truth that shall leave all earlier discoveries useless and meaningless. As a ruthless battle continues to threaten humanity, Tris must quickly discover who she can trust to survive outside the walls.
Allegiant is the third and last movie of the trilogy, based on of the Divergent series by author Veronica Roth. Directed by Robert Schwentke, Allegiant is now in theaters, it was released on March 18, 2016.
